Is it disrespectful to get a military insignia tattoo if you are not in service? - asthma tattoo
I want a tattoo of this symbol http://images.cafepress.com/image/13254584_125x125.jpg began when the insignia of all U.S. military aircraft in 1947. She was in a yellow circle with a red star in which it was born, established in 1916, but changed over the years. I think the Air Force is the only branch of the military still used, and I'm not on duty. My fathers side of the family has always been in the Air Force was, and my brother came in 2006. I wish I could serve my country, but I have asthma, and none of them myself. I am a patriot and a great friend of the United States in history. I want this symbol to about 2 inches wide under my right wrist, but someone told me that he believes his lack of respect, marked a symbol tattooed military insignia, if I am outside, orand the military. What are your views?
I want this because I'm proud of my family, for their service, and because I work in engineering planning / design of aircraft I am studying in the future, I like old things, and my love for the country and its history.

I see nothing wrong with it.
First, it is a symbol for each service or accession.
Secondly, if, as suggested by a poster, a lack of respect to wear a T-shirt Navy SEAL, as you visit the SEAL Museum in Florida, and a purchase?
Third: The world is not so thin-skinned. I know there is a stamp that dissolves when they are on the POG. But I also know that many do not care, not just ...
